DELTA DENTAL OF MISSOURI NAMES NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
ST. LOUIS, MO (Nov. 29, 2016) - Delta Dental of Missouri has announced that William (Bill) Peters, of St. Charles, has been named the organization’s new chief operating officer. Peters will succeed Pam Martin, who is set to retire in February 2017 after a 42-year tenure with the dental benefits company. Peters recently joined the organization and is working alongside Martin during this transition period. He will take over full responsibility for customer service and claims operations early next year for Delta Dental of Missouri and its affiliated companies.
Peters brings with him more than 20 years of healthcare industry experience. He most recently served as senior executive vice president of Letco Medical, a leading national pharmaceutical distribution and repackaging partner. In this capacity he was responsible for the strategic planning, sales, marketing, customer service, staffing, regulatory compliance and operating performance for the company, which has more than 50 associates, over 6,500 customers and multi-million dollar annual revenues. Prior to this position, he served as general manager of Omnicare and held executive roles at ICP Medical and Express Scripts.

Peters holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Regis University in Denver, Colo., and has earned a Lean Six Sigma certification. He resides in St. Charles with his wife, son and daughter.
